North America is the only continent where Christianity is not growing. On a typical weekend, only 17% of Americans attend Christian churches. Our goal is not only to plant churches, or even churches planting churches, but to plant church planting churches. Church plants are the most effective method of evangelism.

Not only is planting churches an important means of investing in the Kingdom of God, but it is also the only mission dollar that will out give you in time. The sustained giving of a church plant will give more to missions in time.

The Problem

The average church plant in a metro setting takes significant outside income to get to self-sufficiency. Church plants seek to solve the problem in one of two ways: First and relatively rarely, they find a sponsoring church to cover that cost by direct gift and/or by investing giving families to the plant. These churches get to financial self-sufficiency in two to three years. The second option is for the pastoral staff to work additional full-time jobs to make up the difference. These churches attain self-sufficiency at a significantly slower pace, often loose momentum, and bring their staff to the brink of burnout.
